No, this isn’t another depiction of the Grim Reaper. It could be his brother though. This is the Oracle that can show us where we are headed beforehand. He is the manifestation of consequential thinking. There are consequences for all we do, say, and think. The Oracle points to those possible outcomes, providing us the space for wisdom to surface and guide us to mindful responses.
I wanted to create something that was somewhat reminiscent of those scenes from movies like “300.” Having experienced the impact-fulness of an orange sky over San Francisco, it suited the image. A solemn, stank, beautiful image…that invites one to consider their choices.
