“In the night two panthers have united to bring peace and justice to ta’ hood—Black Panther and Blue Panther.”
I was inspired to create this piece to speak of the injustice the African American community has had to suffer through and endure. The panther is a symbol of protection in African culture. In thinking about the harm that racism causes, I decided there needs to be a real-time panther to give peace and security to the African American community.
