When you travel to the west, at what point does it become the east? Up and down are also relative concepts. There is no up or down in space, unless there is a chosen reference point. I can see how a life can be labeled this or that. The truth of the matter is that one thing cannot exist without its relationship to something else. Do you think in black and white terms? Right and wrong...without shades of grey? All good, all bad are conceptual absolutes that can imprison both ourselves and allows for the marginalization of others. In my own life I've passed through varying degrees of being. Do they define me, or a moment in time? To be shackled or more aware depends on our focus and other factors. To be free is the goal.
