Mother's Love, 2025

I painted Mother’s Love just before my mother’s birthday and Mother’s Day. It began as a personal offering to her, something that could speak what words couldn’t. In this piece, a mother cradles her child close, their faces touching, wrapped in warmth and gold. I adorned her with jewelry and richness because that’s how I see my own mother; radiant and powerful. But as I painted, I realized this wasn’t just about her. It was about all mothers. The ones who carry their children with fierce tenderness. The ones who pour everything they have into the next generation. This piece is my tribute, my gratitude, my reminder that we should honor them, love them out loud, and never take their presence for granted.
