“Obatala (pronounced O’ Bot’ Allah’) is about having a mind that is at peace. I feel a strong connection to this by understanding that I will guard my mind in trying times. As we all grow and learn there is a celebrated beginning as well as an acknowledged ending to the journey we call life.
