This mural was inspired by the colorful testimonies of women who voiced their artistic talents in Denver Women’s Correctional Facility’s (DCWF) Open Mic program. Life is depicted on one side, and opposite is Santa Muerte with biohazard emblems on her robe. Love stands on a pillar of faith and emanates the words 'I love you' in rays of light in different languages from the center of the painting.
