I discovered a thumb size black and white real image of the “Three Fates” statues in Thrace, Greece depicted with only their torsos intact (their arms and heads are missing having been stolen by European antiquity dealers). I replaced their arms and heads as I imagined they would appear and instead drew their hearts missing with constellations shining through the missing spaces and illuminating them from behind. It is befitting of our modern justice system—The Fates are missing their hearts: compassion, wisdom, and tolerance. Money and social status rule the justice of today.
